As the principal co-author of "Collector's Encyclopedia of Sascha Brastoff", I've seen and appraised thousands of pieces of Brastoff’s work over the years. It's important for a collector at any stage to understand Sascha's entire body of work and his lifelong artistic output. Personally, I've gravitated toward those rare items created in all media. Sascha was world renowned for his ceramics, jewelry, metal sculpture and fine art, but also worked in pooled glass, plastic, Lucite, paper, Styrofoam, fine metals and gemstones, found objects and more. NEVER resin, but that will be discussed later.

If you'd like to have a glimpse of my extensive collection, which once included a 14K gold and gem encrusted mermaid (made from more than a pound of gold!), an original bronze coated welded steel sculpture of Christ (currently in the Winthrop Rockefeller collection) and examples of Sascha’s erotica (from his private collection), drop me a line. I'd like to meet other collectors and help in identifying and clarifying your individual pieces. This is not a free appraisal service. We can discuss your needs later.  Steve Conti
