| As co-author of "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Sascha Brastoff", I've seen and appraised thousands of examples of his work. It's important for a collector (at any stage) to understand Sascha's full body of work and lifelong artistic output. Personally, I've gravitated toward those rare items created in all medium. Sascha was world renowned for his ceramics, jewelry, metal sculpture and fine art, but he also worked in plastic, lucite, paper, styrofoam, fine metals and gemstones, found objects - everything BUT glass. And NEVER resin. If you'd like to have a glimpse of my extensive collection, inc. a 14K gold and gem encrusted mermaid (weighing more than a pound of gold!), an original welded steel bronze coated sculpture of Christ (from the Rockefeller collection) and examples of Sascha erotica (from his private collection), drop me a line. I'd like to meet other collectors and help in identification. This is NOT a free appraisal service. We can discuss your needs later. Steve Conti |
